Office 2007 |
In January 2008, Microsoft made available their new MS Office Suite version – MS Office 2007. Alamo Community College’s license with Microsoft allow us to use MS Office 2007 for home and office use. The purpose of this project is to rollout MS Office 2007 to the District level administrative offices.
ACCD Information Technologies has begun the planning process to implement MS Office 2007, including a deployment schedule, testing, documentation, support processes, web resources and end user training. The Project is expected to complete August 2008.
| Sept. 15, 2008 | This project has been completed with the exception of a few computers that are pending a hardware upgrade and those that have a valid business reason not to upgrade. |
| Sept. 4, 2008 | Office 2007 installations are more than 90% complete at 201 W. Sheridan, as of the beginning of this week. |
| July 8, 2008 | Since the beginning of June 2008, Information Technology Services has begun rolling out the Office 2007 product to user workstations at the district office locations.
